- Coaching Conversations: The text of your conversations with your AI coach.
- Journal Entries: Daily reflection responses you write within the App.
- Goals and Action Items: Goals you create, progress notes, and to-do items.
### 1.2 Information Collected Automatically- Subscription Status: Whether you are using the free tier or have an active premium subscription, managed through RevenueCat (see Section 3).
- Daily Message Count: A local count of messages sent per day, used solely to enforce free-tier usage limits.
### 1.3 Voice DataIf you choose to use voice input, the App records audio using your device microphone. Voice recordings are:- Temporarily created on your device solely for the purpose of transcription.
- Sent to OpenAI's Whisper API for speech-to-text conversion.
- Immediately deleted from your device after transcription is complete.
- Not stored by us in any form. Only the resulting text transcription is retained locally on your device.

- Photos or camera data
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs (beyond what RevenueCat collects for subscription management)
- Browsing history
- Analytics, telemetry, or usage tracking data

How Your Information Is Stored### 2.1 Local-First StorageAll of your personal data — including your profile, coaching conversations, journal entries, goals, insights, and preferences — is stored locally on your device using on-device storage (AsyncStorage). We do not operate a cloud backend or database that stores your personal information.This means:- Your data resides on your device and is under your control.
- We do not have access to your conversations, journal entries, goals, or any other personal content you create in the App.
- If you uninstall the App or clear app data, your locally stored information will be permanently deleted.
### 2.2 No User Accounts or Cloud SyncThe App does not require you to create an account, and there is no cloud synchronization. Your data does not transfer between devices.---## 3. Third-Party ServicesTo provide core functionality, the App sends certain data to the following third-party services. Each service processes data according to its own privacy policy:### 3.1 Anthropic (Claude AI)- Purpose: Powers the AI coaching conversations, generates insights, summaries, goal recommendations, and other coaching content.
- Data Shared: When you interact with the AI coach, your conversation messages and relevant personal context (name, age range, coaching domain, goals, personality patterns, journal summaries, and conversation history) are sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses.
- Data Retention by Anthropic: Anthropic processes this data to provide the AI response. Anthropic's handling of API data is governed by their usage policies, which state that data submitted through the API is not used to train their models. - Sensitive Data Note: Coaching conversations may include sensitive personal information such as your goals, challenges, emotions, and personal reflections. This data is transmitted to Anthropic's servers to generate coaching responses.
### 3.2 OpenAI (Whisper Transcription)- Purpose: Converts voice recordings to text when you use the voice input feature.
- Data Shared: Audio recordings in M4A format are sent to OpenAI's Whisper API.
- Data Retention by OpenAI: Audio data is processed for transcription purposes. OpenAI's handling of API data is governed by their data usage policies, which state that data submitted through the API is not used to train their models by default. - Voice Data Lifecycle: Audio is recorded temporarily on your device, sent for transcription, and immediately deleted from your device upon completion.
### 3.3 RevenueCat- Purpose: Manages in-app subscriptions and purchase verification.
- Data Shared: RevenueCat receives an anonymous customer identifier and information about your subscription entitlements and purchase transactions through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not share your name, coaching data, conversations, or any other personal content with RevenueCat.
- Data Retention by RevenueCat: RevenueCat processes subscription and purchase data to manage entitlements. For full details, please review RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
### 3.4 Apple App Store / Google Play Store- Purpose: Processes payments for premium subscriptions.
- Data Shared: Payment and transaction data is handled directly by Apple or Google. We do not receive or store your payment card details, billing address, or other financial information.

- Does not automatically transmit any data to us or to any third party.
Similarly, you may import expertise documents shared by others. Imported expertise data is stored locally on your device.---## 7. Data Retention and Deletion### 7.1 Local DataSince all personal data is stored locally on your device:- Retention: Your data persists on your device for as long as the App is installed and you do not manually clear it.
- Deletion: You can delete all of your data at any time by uninstalling the App or clearing the App's data through your device settings.
### 7.2 Third-Party DataData transmitted to Anthropic, OpenAI, and RevenueCat is subject to each provider's respective data retention policies. Please refer to their privacy policies (linked in Section 3) for details on how long they retain data processed through their APIs.---## 8. Data SecurityWe take reasonable measures to protect your information:- All data transmitted to third-party APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, RevenueCat) is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections.
- Personal data is stored locally on your device and is protected by your device's built-in security features (passcode, biometric authentication, encryption).
- We do not maintain servers or databases that store your personal information.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.---## 9. Children's PrivacyThe App is not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. You can choose to type all responses instead.### 10.3 Opt Out of Third-Party ProcessingBecause the App requires Anthropic's AI to function as a coaching tool, opting out of data transmission to Anthropic would prevent core functionality. However:- You can avoid sending voice data to OpenAI by not using the voice input feature.
- You can use the free tier to avoid any interaction with RevenueCat's purchase processing.

- Not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.

Subscriptions and Payments### 5.1 Free and Premium TiersThe App offers a free tier with limited daily messages and a premium subscription with unlimited access to features.### 5.2 Subscription Terms- Premium subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Payment is charged to your App Store or Play Store account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- You can manage and cancel your subscription through your device's App Store or Play Store settings.
### 5.3 RefundsRefund requests are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective refund policies.
